El fracaso institucional de la ONU

Las Naciones Unidas (ONU) nacieron en 1945 con una tara estructural irreversible: el Consejo de Seguridad y su derecho al veto absoluto, un mecanismo que convirtió al organismo en el rehén perpetuo de las potencias vencedoras de la posguerra. Este diseño viciado anuló desde el primer día su capacidad de ser un árbitro neutral, transformando a la ONU en un cascarón burocrático profundamente hipócrita y cobarde. A lo largo de las décadas, esta pobre institución ha demostrado que no sirve para imponer la justicia, sino para garantizar la inmunidad total de los agresores poderosos, aplicando sanciones severas solo a las naciones débiles mientras agacha la cabeza ante los verdaderos tiranos del planeta.

En el escenario geopolítico actual, la total inoperancia de la ONU queda expuesta ante el sufrimiento humano, pasando desapercibida e incapaz de encontrar soluciones de paz para guerras brutales. Mientras la invasión en Ucrania desangra a Europa Central, la alarmante escalada bélica con Irán en Medio Oriente consolida un polvorín global de violencia incontrolable. Ante estas catástrofes, el resto de los países del mundo exhibe una sumisión humillante ante el abuso sistemático del veto por parte de Estados Unidos. Las naciones aceptan un rol de espectadores cómplices que asisten con una pasividad vergonzosa a la destrucción de otras naciones enteras, guardando un silencio pasivo mientras se someten al chantaje financiero de Washington, que asfixia el presupuesto del organismo reteniendo sus cuotas obligatorias por dinero.

La solución operativa

Para romper este círculo vicioso de cinismo y luchar por una verdadera paz y armonía en el planeta a futuro, la ONU necesita una refundación radical que extirpe el chantaje del veto absolutista y democratice sus instituciones. El organismo solo será operativo si se eliminan los privilegios de los poderosos, permitiendo que una mayoría calificada de la Asamblea General anule cualquier veto en casos de invasión y crímenes de guerra, además de obligar a que sus resoluciones sean de cumplimiento mandatorio. Solo creando una fuerza de paz autónoma y un sistema de financiamiento blindado contra la extorsión de las superpotencias, la ONU podrá dejar de ser un foro de discursos inútiles y transformarse en un verdadero garante de la dignidad y la supervivencia de la humanidad.

The Institutional Failure of the UN

The United Nations (UN) was born in 1945 with an irreversible structural flaw: the Security Council and its right to absolute veto, a mechanism that turned the organization into the perpetual hostage of the post-war victorious powers. From day one, this flawed design nullified its capacity to act as a neutral arbiter, transforming the UN into a deeply hypocritical and cowardly bureaucratic shell. Throughout the decades, this poor institution has proven that it does not serve to enforce justice, but rather to guarantee total immunity for powerful aggressors, applying severe sanctions only to weak nations while bowing its head before the true tyrants of the planet.

In the current geopolitical arena, the absolute inoperability of the UN stands exposed before human suffering, passing unnoticed and incapable of finding peaceful solutions to brutal wars. While the invasion of Ukraine bleeds Central Europe dry, the alarming warlike escalation involving Iran in the Middle East solidifies a global powder keg of uncontrollable violence. In the face of these catastrophes, the rest of the world's countries exhibit a humiliating submission to the systematic abuse of the veto by the United States. Nations accept a role as complicit spectators, witnessing with shameful passivity the destruction of other entire nations, keeping a passive silence while submitting to Washington's financial blackmail, which suffocates the organization's budget by withholding its mandatory dues for money.

The Operational Solution

To break this vicious cycle of cynicism and fight for true peace and harmony on the planet in the future, the UN requires a radical refounding that extirpates the blackmail of the absolutist veto and democratizes its institutions. The organization will only become operational if the privileges of the powerful are eliminated, allowing a qualified majority of the General Assembly to overrule any veto in cases of invasion and war crimes, in addition to making its resolutions mandatory for compliance. Only by creating an autonomous peacekeeping force and a funding system shielded against the extortion of the superpowers will the UN be able to stop being a forum for useless speeches and transform into a true guarantor of human dignity and survival.
