NADIE SOBRA: LEY E IGUALDAD

La convivencia democrática en Chile exige el abandono definitivo de cualquier retórica de confrontación que utilice el miedo o la amenaza como herramienta política contra sectores del progresismo, el socialismo o el comunismo. Este comportamiento psicológico, que busca reactivar la lógica del «enemigo interno», es incompatible con un Estado de derecho moderno, donde la pluralidad de ideas no es una amenaza, sino un derecho fundamental. Deshumanizar al adversario político mediante alusiones de exterminio o amedrentamiento no solo agrede a un sector específico, sino que lesiona profundamente la estabilidad y el tejido social de toda la nación. 

Es significativo desarmar la psicología de la hostilidad que emana de discursos que pretenden situar a ciertos grupos, incluidos exmiembros de instituciones jerárquicas, en una posición de superioridad moral o patriótica sobre el resto de la ciudadanía. La seguridad nacional y el orden público no pueden ser utilizados como pretexto para la coacción ideológica. Chile es una casa común donde el respeto a la diversidad de pensamiento es la única base posible para la paz; intentar imponer una visión única mediante la intimidación es desconocer la esencia misma de nuestra identidad republicana y democrática. 

La solución estructural a este fenómeno reside en la aplicación estricta del principio de que nadie está por encima de la ley. El respeto recíproco debe ser el estándar mínimo de conducta: cualquier incitación a la violencia o uso de la amenaza debe ser canalizado y sancionado a través de los mecanismos legales vigentes, sin excepciones. El imperio de la ley garantiza que ni el uniforme, ni la historia, ni la militancia otorguen privilegios para vulnerar la dignidad de otros, asegurando que el debate político se mantenga en el terreno de las ideas y no en el de la fuerza. 

Nadie está por encima de la Ley 

Finalmente, la unidad nacional solo será alcanzable bajo la premisa de que en Chile nadie sobra y nadie es superior a otro. Debemos transitar desde un lenguaje de conflicto hacia uno de reconocimiento mutuo, donde la igualdad ante la ley y la dignidad humana sean los pilares que sostengan nuestro futuro. Al fortalecer nuestras instituciones y rechazar colectivamente cualquier forma de violencia psicológica, garantizamos que Chile sea un país donde todas las voces tengan espacio y donde el bienestar común sea el único objetivo que nos movilice a todos por igual.

NO ONE IS SUPERFLUOUS: LAW AND EQUALITY

Greetings to all.

Democratic coexistence in Chile demands the definitive abandonment of any confrontational rhetoric that uses fear or threats as a political tool against progressive, socialist, or communist sectors. This psychological behavior, which seeks to reactivate the logic of the "internal enemy," is incompatible with a modern Rule of Law, where the plurality of ideas is not a threat, but a fundamental right. Dehumanizing a political adversary through allusions to extermination or intimidation not only attacks a specific sector but also deeply damages the stability and social fabric of the entire nation.

It is significant to dismantle the psychology of hostility emanating from discourses that attempt to place certain groups, including former members of hierarchical institutions, in a position of moral or patriotic superiority over the rest of the citizenry. National security and public order cannot be used as a pretext for ideological coercion. Chile is a common home where respect for diversity of thought is the only possible basis for peace; attempting to impose a single vision through intimidation is to ignore the very essence of our republican and democratic identity.

The structural solution to this phenomenon lies in the strict application of the principle that no one is above the law. Reciprocal respect must be the minimum standard of conduct: any incitement to violence or use of threats must be channeled and sanctioned through existing legal mechanisms, without exception. The Rule of Law guarantees that neither uniform, history, nor political affiliation grants privileges to violate the dignity of others, ensuring that political debate remains in the realm of ideas and not in the realm of force.

No one is above the Law

Finally, national unity will only be achievable under the premise that in Chile no one is superfluous and no one is superior to another. We must transition from a language of conflict toward one of mutual recognition, where equality before the law and human dignity are the pillars that sustain our future. By strengthening our institutions and collectively rejecting any form of psychological violence, we guarantee that Chile will be a country where all voices have a place and where the common good is the only objective that mobilizes us all equally.
